Cross-country skiing: Flora Dolci sole French competitor in the skiathlon
The day after Johannes Hoesflot Klæbo won his second title in the men’s skiathlon, the women cross-country skiers took to the track in their first distance event of the world cross-country skiing championships in Trondheim (Norway).

From 2pm, Jessie Diggins will wear bib number 1 at the head of a field of sixty starters. This race will be particularly closely watched as star Therese Johaug makes her return to the Worlds with the firm intention of winning it all.

On the French side, Flora Dolci will be the only Frenchwoman to defend her chances on the 20-kilometre Scandinavian course. On the line, the Haut-Alpine fromAS Edelweiss will wear number 12.
Start list – 2pm
