Cross-country skiing: Izabella Marcisz again
It was in the Pragelato stadium (Italy) that the cross-country skiers competed in the classic sprint of the Turin 2025 World University Games on Friday. Izabella Marcisz proved to be the strongest. The Pole beat Estonia’s Kaidy Kaasiku and Finland’s Anni Lindroos to claim her second gold medal in two races.

In the French camp, Félicie Chappaz took part in the final, finishing just off the podium. Julie Marciniak and Manon Favre Bonvin were eliminated in the quarter-finals.
