Cross-country skiing: Nolan Gertsch dominates the classic sprint
On Friday, Nolan Gertsch won the classic sprint at the Turin 2025 World University Games in the Pragelato stadium (Italy). The Swiss beat two Finns, Valtteri Pennanen and Markus Kasanen, in the final.

On the French side, the competition came to an end in the quarter-finals for Hugo Serot and Ugo Zanellato. The French cross-country skiers will be back in action this Sunday in the team skate sprints.
