The general classification of the women’sTour de Ski was less upset than that of the men on Friday at the end of the classic sprint of the cross-country skiing world cup in Val di Fiemme, Italy.

In fact, only Heidi Weng recovered precious seconds, as the Norwegian took an excellent third place in the day’s race. The experienced Scandinavian is now 1 minute and 27 seconds behind the leader, Astrid Oeyre Slind, who put in a fine performance to reach the quarter-finals.

Therese Johaug, who also qualified for the finals, is only 8 seconds behind her compatriot, while Kerttu Niskanen continues to round off the top 3 at 29 seconds. As for the French, Léna Quintin is the best Blue in thirty-eighth place, with Mélissa Gal close behind in forty-first.
