The second day of the Italian cross-country skiing championships took place on Sunday in the Val di Fiemme (Italy), on the same tracks that the athletes will be using for the Olympic Games in Milan/Cortina (Italy).

In thewomen’s 10km individual skate, Maria Gismondi was the strongest. The Italian took the national title with a margin of just three tenths over her compatriot Martina Di Centa. Veronica Silvestri rounded off the podium.
In the men’s race, Davide Graz did not pull any punches. To win gold, the Transalpine rider crushed the event, relegating silver medallist Giandomenico Salvadori to more than 21 seconds. He was followed by Luca Del Fabbro in bronze.
