The Milan/Cortina 2026 Olympic Games are just one year away
On 6 February, we are exactly 365 days, or one year, away from the opening ceremony of the XXV Olympic Winter Games in Milan/Cortina 2026. It is in the San Siro stadium that the Games will be officially launched.
To celebrate this symbolic date of D-365, Milan/Cortina 2026 is organising a “One Year to Go” ceremony this Thursday at the Teatro Strehler in Milan (Italy). At the same time, the countdown to the event will be unveiled on the Piazzetta Reale, also in Milan.
In addition, the 350,000 people pre-registered on the ticketing platform for the Milan/Cortina 2026 Olympic Games can start buying tickets from 6 February. The general sale will then open in April. The organisation guarantees over 20% of tickets for less than €40 and 57% for less than €100.
As a reminder, the biathlon events at the Milan/Cortina 2026 Olympic Games will be held in Antholz (Italy), while the cross-country skiing, ski jumping and Nordic combined will take place in Val di Fiemme (Italy), on the Tesero stadium and the Predazzo ski jumps.
