Feedback
David Lappartient, President of the CNOSF
“The appointment of Fabien Saguez as Chef de Mission for the Milan/Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games is a legitimate choice. His experience of the Olympic Games, combined with his background in winter sports, both as a technician and a manager, is a real asset for our delegation. His rigour and values of excellence will be fundamental qualities in supporting and leading our athletes to success and top-level performances. Finally, his expertise will also be invaluable to the youngest members of the future generation, who will be approaching the Milan/Cortina 2026 Games with a view to performing in the French Alps in 2030.”
Marie-Amélie Le Fur, President of the CPSF
“Who better than Marie Bochet to lead our French delegation to the Milan/Cortina 2026 Paralympic Games? This is not an honorary choice, but rather a conviction that we needed a well-known figure to embody this role. With her sights set on the 2030 Olympic and Paralympic Games in the French Alps, I’m convinced that Marie Bochet will put her expertise and vision to good use in the mission entrusted to her.”
Fabien Saguez, head of mission for the Olympic delegation
“I am very honoured to have been appointed Chef de Mission for the Olympic Games in Milan/Cortina, which will take place from 6 to 22 February 2026, and I would like to thank David Lappartient, President of the CNOSF, for his confidence in me. I’ll be putting all my experience and expertise into ensuring that our French team is ready in just over a year’s time! The challenges of these Games are unprecedented, with a multiplicity of venues that are more or less distant from one another. The aim is to support the staff and athletes before and during the Games, so that they are in the best possible condition to stand on the podium. I will be putting all my energy into this, alongside the CNOSF teams.”
Marie Bochet, head of mission for the Paralympic delegation
“I am extremely proud to have been appointed Chef de Mission and to lead the French delegation for the Milan/Cortina 2026 Paralympic Games. I would like to thank the CPSF for the trust they have placed in me. I’ll be keen to put my experience and passion to work for the athletes and coaches in the French team and to promote Paralympic values, as was the case last summer in Paris. On the road to the 2030 Olympic and Paralympic Games in the French Alps, it will be up to us once again to continue writing the history of French sport…”
