Milan/Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games: the organisers unveil the pictograms and look of the Games
On Thursday, in Milan (Italy), the organisers of the Milan/Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games unveiled a number of visual elements that will be visible to all during the competitions scheduled for 6 to 22 February and 6 to 15 March 2026.
First, the look of the Games, the visual identity of Milan/Cortina 2026, was revealed. “Inspired by the new “Italian spirit”, the design draws on Italy’s rich culture and values. This influence has given rise to an iconic and dynamic graphic language designed to captivate hearts and unite audiences, creating a unique and memorable experience for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games,” states a press release.
“The look of the Milan/Cortina 2026 Games presents an extraordinary visual language that accentuates the charm of our cities and venues, expressing a new concept of Italian beauty, explains Andrea Varnier, Managing Director of the Milan/Cortina 2026 Foundation. This dynamic visual identity, inspired by our energy, enthusiasm, openness and talent, will be instantly recognisable and will invite visitors from all over the world to immerse themselves in the new ‘Italian spirit’. It will leave a lasting mark on the history of the Games.“
The official pictograms for the various Olympic (16) and Paralympic (6) disciplines at Milan/Cortina 2026 were also unveiled. “Inspired by the movement and talent of the athletes, the pictograms have been designed to reflect the purest form of human gesture, with a distinctive symbol that is at once elegant, vibrant and dynamic”, it says.
