14:55. After suffering a fall on landing last weekend at the Nordic Combined World Cup in Otepää (Estonia), the German skier has ruptured the cruciate ligaments in his left knee. The German Ski Association made the announcement early this afternoon.
“It’s a big shock for me and it hurts my heart, but I’m already looking forward to the operation and the rehabilitation that will follow. The motto is: once you’ve fallen, you have to get back up and start again”, says the German combined.
