A few weeks ago, Jarl Magnus Riiber made the headlines in the Norwegian media after not taking part in the ski jumping competitions at the opening event scheduled for 23 and 24 November in Beitostølen (Norway). At the time, his coach Ivar Stuan explained that the Nordic combined star had had a complicated few weeks due to pain in a wisdom tooth.
At the start of November, the situation is much more positive. “If he stays healthy, I’m absolutely certain that he’ll be at the start of the Ruka World Cup, Ivar Stuan told NTB in a statement picked up by TV2. Being ready at the start of the season is very important.”
Currently slightly ill, Jarl Magnus Riiber, who had knee surgery in the spring, is nevertheless training normally. “He’s ready for the three competitions in Ruka,” says his coach.
