Nordic combined: renewed form for Johannes Lamparter
Johannes Lamparter still has a bitter taste of his weekend in Ramsau (Austria) last December. On home soil, the Austrian, who was ill, had some difficult races. He finished ninth in the gundersen. The long break before the next world cup stage in Schonach (Germany) from 18 to 19 January came at just the right time.

The young handset took the opportunity to recover and prepare intensely: “Over the next few days, I tried to heal as quickly as possible. That lasted 2-3 days. I was then able to train very well, with many intensive sessions at Seefeld”, he explained in a press release from his federation.
A German stopover not to be missed
Today, the athlete is looking forward to competing in the heart of the Black Forest. ” Schonach is always a great competition with lots of spectators,” enthuses Johannes Lamparter.
Like a stadium like Nove Mesto (Czech Republic) in biathlon, Schonach (Germany) exudes a different atmosphere where the atmosphere is electric. “The Germans do it very well. I can’t wait to get going again. I’m ready,” he explains.

Accompanying the Austrian leader will be Lukas Greidere, Franz-JosefRehrl, Martin Fritz, Paul Walcher, Fabio Obermeyr, Stefan Rettenegger and Thomas Rettenegger. On the women’s side, Lisa Hirner, Annalena Slamik and Claudia Purker will be taking part.
