American Alexa Brabec finished third at 44 seconds, Austrian Lisa Hirner fourth at 48 seconds and Norwegian Marte Leinan Lund fifth in the same time. Returning to the World Cup, American Tara Geraghty-Moats made her mark after a great comeback. She took sixth place 54 seconds after starting 20th.

After starting in the lead, Ingrid Laate was 13th at 1 min 28. That’s better than the only French rider taking part: Léna Brocard finished 24th out of 32, 2:09 behind the leader.
