This Saturday morning, the Nordic Combined World Cup resumed in Schonach, Germany. The gundersen ski jumping competition was on the programme. Jarl Magnus Riiber returned to his winning ways with victory.
With a jump of 102 metres, he finished ahead of Thomas Rettenegger and Franz-Josef Rehrl, currently wearing the blue jersey for best jumper. The best Frenchman, Laurent Muhlethaler, came twenty-first.

In the 10-kilometre pursuit scheduled for the afternoon, the Norwegian will start 6 seconds ahead of his runner-up and 24 seconds ahead of the Austrian in third place.
Among the other French riders, Marco Heinis was thirty-ninth, Mattéo Baud fortieth and Gaël Blondeau forty-fifth. Edgar Vallet rounded off the podium in fifty-fourth place.
