10:22. This Tuesday morning, Ski Austria announced the names of the athletes selected for the Nordic Combined World Championships scheduled for the end of the month in Trondheim (Norway). Unsurprisingly, Johannes Lamparter leads the men’s group, with Stefan Rettenegger, Martin Fritz, Fabio Obermeyr, Thomas Rettenegger and Franz-Josef Rehrl in his wake.
In the women’s category, Claudia Purker, the highest-ranked Austrian in the overall World Cup standings, is well represented. So are Annalena Slamik, Lisa Hirner and Katharina Gruber.
As for Anna-Sophia Gredler, a decision on her participation will be taken after this week’s World Junior Championships in Lake Placid (USA).
