This Thursday, the jumping competitions in the team sprints of the 2025 Junior Nordic Combined World Championships were largely disrupted by wind and snow in Lake Placid (United States).
In these difficult conditions, France’s Romane Baud (65 metres) and Marion Droz-Vincent (68 metres) took sixth place, 1 min 3 behind the leader, Minja Korhonen and Heta Hivonen of Finland. Germany is 10 seconds back, Slovenia 25 seconds, Norway 42 seconds and Italy 53 seconds.

The men’s competition, on the other hand, had to be postponed for several hours before finally taking place in the early afternoon. Austria’s Andreas Gfrerer and Paul Walcher took the lead, 24 seconds ahead of Japan. France’s Lubin Martin (76.5 metres) and Lilian Tréand (73.5 metres) were ninth, 1 min 9 and 30 seconds behind the podium.
