Friday saw the compact Nordic combined continental cup race in Lahti (Finland). Starting with bib 11 after the jump, it was Germany’s Jakob Lange who came out on top. He beat his compatriots Simon Mach – in the lead after the jump – by 11 sec 1 and Tristan Sommerfeldt by 18 seconds.

In the French camp, after a fine comeback in the cross-country race, Maël Tyrode took a fine eighth place, 44 sec 4 behind the day’s winner. Lubin Martin was nineteenth at 1 min 23 sec 7 and Lilian Tréand twenty-third at 1 min 39 sec 5.
