This Saturday evening, early afternoon on site, the cross-country ski pursuits of the Nordic Combined Junior World Championships were taking place in Lake Placid (USA).
In the women’s event, Norway’s Ingrid Laate, in the lead after the jump, managed to hold on to the title ahead of Slovenia’s Teja Pavec and Germany’s Trine Goepfert, with Finland’s Minja Korhonen just off the podium.

For the French, Romane Baud was thirteenth and Marion Droz-Vincent fourteenth.

The men’s title went to Austria’s Paul Walcher, as he did last year. Atsushi Narita and Richard Stenzel took the medals, while Lubin Martin was seventeenth and Lilian Tréand twenty-first.
