This Friday, the Nordic combined continental cup in Lillehammer (Norway) kicked off with a day reserved for gundersen. In the women’s event, France’s Anaëlle Paris started the cross-country ski pursuit in second place after a good jumping competition.
Beaten by stronger competitors over the 5km, the Frenchwoman nonetheless finished sixth and achieved her best career result on the circuit. Germany’s Sophia Maurus won ahead of Italy’s Veronica Gianmoena and Daniela Dejori.

Then, in the men’s race, Tom Rochat from the Vosges, forty-fourth at the start, made a fantastic comeback on his cross-country skis to finish ninth at the finish line. Germany completed a hat-trick of victories with Jakob Lange ahead of Richard Stenzel and Jonathan Graebert.
Maël Tyrode was fifteenth, Lubin Martin twenty-first and Lilian Tréand twenty-fourth.
