16:39. The Oftebro brothers put on a show on Sunday 18 January on the gundersen inOberhof (Germany). Starting 3rd and 6th, the Norwegians showed their superiority on skis in the German world cup. They went on the offensive and gradually knocked their three Austrian rivals out of the leading group. Stefan Rettenegger (finally 5th at 42 sec), then Thomas Rettenegger (9th at 54 sec) and Franz-Josef Rehrl (20th at 1 min 42) each dropped back in turn.

Isolated at the front, they were then able to explain themselves to each other in the final third of the race. And in this game, Jens Luraas Oftebro got the better of Einar Luraas Oftebro (2nd at 28 seconds). “The conditions suited us. We managed to set a good pace. I’m very happy that my brother managed to keep up with me, but also that I managed to come away with two wins from Oberhof”, commented the winner.
All the French in the points

He finished 3rd on home soil (+35 sec), ahead of the yellow bib (+36 sec). Finland’s Ilkka Herola finished 6th (+44 sec), Germany’s Johannes Rydzek 7th (+45 sec) and Norway’s Andreas Skoglund 10th (+1 min 02) after another comeback.
