16:52. This Saturday, the German Nordic combined summer championships kicked off in Oberstdorf (Germany) with individual competitions contested in the form of gundersens.
In the women’s category, Nathalie Armbruster, who was in the lead after the jumping competition on HS10, was the logical winner of the 5km ski-wheel pursuit and won another national medal. Jenny Nowak and Trine Goepfert finished on the podium behind the world number one.
On the men’s side, it was Julian Schmid who won the title of German Summer Champion ahead of David Mach, in the finish, and Johannes Rydzek, who was only seventh at the start of the 10km ski-wheel pursuit.
