After the ski jumping competition, where the young Ingrid Laate won in style on Saturday morning, the cross-country ski pursuit in the gundersen of the Nordic combined world cup inOslo-Holmenkollen (Norway) took place in the afternoon.

Starting 28 seconds behind her compatriot, Gyda Westvold Hansen once again proved that she is the boss at the end of this winter. Back to her best, the Norwegian didn’t waver as she picked off her rivals one by one and quickly cruised to victory.

Behind her, the Austrian also confirmed the fine form she had shown at the World Championships in Trondheim (Norway) a few weeks ago by finishing second. A few seconds further back, Ida Marie Hagen was back on the podium after a few lapses. Sixth at the finish, Nathalie Armbruster took a big step towards winning the crystal globe before the final competitions of the winter. On the French side, Léna Brocard finished sixteenth, moving up four places.
