This Saturday, the women’s gundersen ski jumping competition at the Nordic Combined World Cup inOslo-Holmenkollen (Norway) made history. For the first time, the combined events were held early in the morning on the big hill.

In great form in this exercise for several weeks, the young Ingrid Laate once again impressed. The first woman to compete in this event, the Norwegian dominated the competition with an excellent jump from 128.5 metres. On the line, she beat her compatriot Gyda Westvold Hansen (119.5 metres). In the pursuit, the 17-year-old will start with a 28-second margin.

On the third step of this provisional podium is Lisa Hirner, who is building on her fine performances at the World Championships in Trondheim (Norway). Positioned at 123 metres, the Austrian still has a good chance of finishing 36 seconds behind the leader. It was a disappointment for Nathalie Armbruster (108.5 metres), who was only thirteenth. France’s Léna Brocard also missed out, finishing twentieth after a jump of 101 metres.
