12:20. We’ve finally jumped in Otepää (Estonia)! After using the pocket jump for the mass-start on Friday and the gundersen on Saturday, the combined events were able to take advantage of more favourable wind conditions to return to the Estonian springboard on Sunday for the compact event.
The women were the first to return to the vault. Ingrid Laate once again dominated the competition with a jump of 96.5m, but the format meant she was only six seconds ahead of the cross-country skiers, and her chances of a top 10 finish were already diminished. The Norwegian will start ahead of Finland’s Minja Korhonen and her compatriot and overall leader Ida Marie Hagen (3rd at 12 seconds), winner of five of the first six races.

Germany’s Nathalie Armbruster will start 4th (+17 sec), the American Alexa Brabec 6th (+26 sec), Norway’s Marte Leinan Lund 15th (+48 sec) and the American Tara Geraghty-Moats 21st (+1 min). The only French competitor, Léna Brocard, started 24th at 1 min 05.
