This Saturday morning, the Nordic Combined World Cup continued in Otepää (Estonia) with the gundersen jumping competition. In changing wind conditions, it was Japan’s Haruka Kasai who stood out. With a jump of 96.5 metres, she won ahead of Austria’s Annalena Slamik (92.5 metres) and Claudia Purker (93 metres), who were pushed back 6 and 10 seconds.

France’s Léna Brocard (87.5 metres) finished eighth and will start the afternoon’s cross-country ski pursuit 58 seconds behind the winner. Nathalie Armbruster (90 metres), overall leader in the cup, was seventh.= 42 seconds behind.
