After the women earlier in the morning, it was the men’s turn for the pocket jump at the Nordic Combined World Cup in Otepää (Estonia). Jarl Magnus Riiber, the undisputed master of the exercise, got his Estonian week off to the best possible start.
With his best jump of 99 metres, the World Cup leader won ahead of Austria’s Thomas Rettenegger (99 metres) and Martin Fritz (97.5 metres).

For the French, Laurent Muhlethaler (92 metres) was eighteenth, Mattéo Baud (90.5 metres) nineteenth, Marco Heinis (90.5 metres) twenty-sixth, Gaël Blondeau (84 metres) forty-first and Edgar Vallet (85.5 metres) forty-fourth.
