11:39. Only one competitor (Germany’s Maja Loh) finally jumped on Saturday 10 January in Otepää. As on the previous day in the mass start, the wind conditions were finally too bad to compete in the Estonian World Cup jumping competition. The FIS therefore decided to cancel it and to take into account the reserve jumping contested on Thursday. As the pocket jump for the gundersen had already been used the day before, the one for the compact was used.

In the men’s 10km cross-country skiing event, Germany’s Julian Schmid will take the lead at 12:40pm, the day after his victory in the mass-start. He will be ahead of his compatriot Johannes Rydzek (+8 sec) and the Austrians Thomas Rettenegger (+10 sec) and Johannes Lamparter (+17 sec). While Norway’s Einar Luraas Oftebro (12th) will start just 36 seconds behind, his brother in the red bib , Jens Luraas Oftebro, will start 1 min 18 behind.
1 min 12 ahead for Ingrid Laate
Frenchman Marco Heinis, on the other hand, was at the front, at least for the first few hectometres of the race. He started fifth at 18 seconds, in a dense group (5 seconds between 4th and 8th). Laurent Muhletahler also benefited from his good jump to start 15th, 40 seconds behind. The other Frenchmen were much further back: Edgar Vallet 39th (+1 min 40), Maël Tyrode 41st (+1 min 43) and Mattéo Baud 53rd (+2 min 58, will start in the wave at 2 min 40).

In the women’s race, Ingrid Laate will start as usual in the lead for the six-kilometre long course at 13:30. This time, the Norwegian will have a lead of 1 min 12 over her compatriot and overall leader Ida Marie Hagen and 1 min 33 over Finland’s Minja Korhonen (3rd). American Alexa Brabec will start 7th (+2 min 01), Germany’s Nathalie Armbruster 11th (+2 min 16) and Norway’s Marte Leinan Lund 16th (+2 min 43). The only French competitor, Léna Brocard, started with a time difference of 3 min 26 (21st), a few moments before the wave.
