Nordic combined: Vinzenz Geiger the strongest in Otepää
This Sunday afternoon saw the cross-country ski pursuit of the men’s individual Nordic Combined World Cup in Otepää (Estonia). As has been the case since the start of the Estonian weekend, victory was decided between Jarl Magnus Riiber and Vinzenz Geiger.
In the lead after the morning jump, the two men were never able to catch up. Still together on the final lap, the German launched a clear attack on the final climb to distance his Norwegian rival. By the end of the 7.5km stage, he was 16.0 seconds ahead of the Scandinavian. Julian Schmid completed the podium at 26 sec 8.

The French, who were struggling on the jump on Sunday morning, competed for a place in the points. Mattéo Baud climbed several places to finish twenty-seventh, while Gaël Blondeau was thirty-eighth, Marco Heinis forty-fifth and Edgar Vallet forty-seventh.
