After the women, it was the men’s turn for the gundersen jumping competition at the Nordic Combined World Cup in Otepää (Estonia).
The morning’s best was Germany’s Vinzenz Geiger. With a jump of 101.5 metres, he won ahead of the yellow number Jarl Magnus Riiber (96 metres). The Norwegian will start this afternoon in the cross-country ski pursuit just 4 seconds behind. Wendelin Thannheimer (95 metres) completes the podium at 22 seconds. Laurent Muhlethaler (91.5 metres) finished eleventh, and once again the best Frenchman, at 1 min 1.

Among the other French competitors, Mattéo Baud (90.5 metres) was twenty-fourth at 1 min 32, Marco Henis (91.5 metres) twenty-fifth at 1 min 34, Edgar Vallet (83 metres) forty-first at 2 min 32 and Gaël Blondeau (84 metres) forty-second at 2 min 41.
