At home on the HS98 springboard, nine athletes finished in the top 20, including six in the top 10. Only Finland’s Ilkka Herola (4th) and the Germans Julian Schmid (6th), Johannes Rydzek (7th) and Richard Stenzel (9th) managed to squeeze in between them.
On the French side, Maël Tyrode achieved his best ever World Cup result on a jump, finishing 29th. He was beaten by Marco Heinis (20th) and Laurent Muhlethaler (21st) and did better thanEdgar Vallet (44th) and Gaël Blondeau (54th).
A mass-start is scheduled for Friday 19th (cross-country skiing at 11am, jumping at 1.15pm) and a gundersen on Saturday 20th (ski jumping at 9.15am, cross-country at 2.45pm).
