The day after the mass start won by Ida Marie Hagen, the second day of competition at the Nordic CombinedWorld Cup in Ramsau (Austria) began with the individual compact jump. And Haruka Kasai beat world number one Ida Marie Hagen (92 metres).

With a jump set at 90.5 metres, the Japanese took the lead in the competition by just six seconds over the Norwegian. Behind the leading duo, Germany’s Cindy Haasch (89.5 metres) put in a surprising performance to finish third.
In thirteenth place today, 44 seconds behind the leader, was France’s Léna Brocard, who landed her jump at 86.5 metres. The native of Isère will be aiming for another place in the top 10 this afternoon.
