A few hours after the 5-kilometre cross-country mass-start at the start of the afternoon, the women’s Nordic combined World Cup athletes battled it out on the ski jump for the first victory of the weekend.

Very solid on the boards, Ida Marie Hagen confirmed that she is not the world’s number one for nothing. With a jump of 88 metres, the Norwegian did everything she needed to claim her second success of the winter ahead of Japan’s Haruka Kasai (92.5 metres) and the young Finn Minja Korhonen (86.5 metres).
France’s Léna Brocard (82.5 metres), who was in contention for a top 5 finish after cross-country skiing, failed to make up any ground in the end. The member of US Autrans (Isère) finally took eighth place on the day. It was her first top 10 finish of the winter.
