On Saturday, Vinzenz Geiger won the cross-country ski pursuit at the Nordic Combined World Cup gundersen in Ramsau (Austria). Stronger than Finland’s Ikka Herola in the final, the German beat his runner-up of the day by just one second. His compatriot Julian Schmid came third, while Jarl Magnus Riiber was only sixth.

Among the French riders, Laurent Muhlethaler put in the best performance of the day, finishing twenty-second. The Jura native was followed by Gaël Blondeau, twenty-fifth, Marco Heinis, thirtieth, Edgar Vallet, thirty-ninth, and Tom Rochat, fifty-fifth.
