After long months of anticipation, the 2024/2025 nordic combined World Cup kicks off this weekend in Ruka (Finland). For this season opener, the French Ski Federation (FFS) announced on Monday that Mattéo Baud, Marco Heinis, Edgar Vallet and Laurent Muhlethaler, who has recovered from a rib injury, will be lining up. They are already on site.
For this opening of the winter season, an individual compact will open the hostilities on Friday, followed at the weekend by a gundersen and a mass-start. The whole thing will form what the FIS has called an ‘Opening Tour’.
