Nordic combined: Jens Luraas Oftebro beats Riiber to the line
We had to wait until the final straight to find out the winner of the men’s individual compact this Saturday afternoon in Seefeld (Austria). In the end, it was Norway’s Jens Luraas Oftebro who raised his arms, just ahead of the yellow bib of Jarl Magnus Riiber.
The Norwegian scored his second victory of the season, following his success in Schonach (Germany) in January. Germany’s Vinzenz Geiger, on the attack on the track, finished third, while Laurent Muhlethaler was once again the best Frenchman. Le Rousseland was sixteenth.

The other Tricolores, who were still struggling on the jump, were a long way off. Mattéo Baud was twenty-second, Gaël Blondeau twenty-ninth, Edgar Vallet thirty-third and Marco Heinis forty-sixth.
