Nordic combined: Romane Baud still flying
At the end of the morning on Saturday, the Nordic combined events contested their gundersen ski jumping competition at the Summer Grand Prix in Chaux-Neuve (Doubs). On the Côte Feuillée HS118 ski jump, a Frenchwoman once again stood out: Romane Baud.
Already on fire mid-week in Oberstdorf (Germany), she landed at 109.5 metres to take second place in the competition, just 3 seconds behind Finland’s Minja Korhonen (104 metres).

Third at 5 seconds, Germany’s Nathalie Armbruster (102 metres) will be the big favourite in the 5km ski-wheel pursuit scheduled from 2.30pm.

Teja Pavec (100 metres) follows at 34 seconds, then the Maria Gerboth (105.5 metres)/JennyNowak (100.5 metres) duo at 36 seconds. American Tara Geraghty-Moats (100 metres) is seventh at 54 seconds and could make a great comeback in Rollerski.

As for the other Frenchwomen, Léna Brocard (96 metres) was twelfth at 1 min 13, Marion Droz-Vincent (91.5 metres) thirteenth at 1 min 33 and Anaëlle Paris (83.5 metres) sixteenth at 2 min 38.
