Nordic Combined : eight athletes selected
The 2025/2026 Nordic Combined World Cup season kicks off in just over three weeks’ time, from 28 to 30 November in Ruka (Finland). Three individual events are on the programme in Finland.
Coach Christoph Bieler has announced the composition of the Austrian team for this first round. Eight athletes have been selected to travel to Finland at the end of the month, following two final group training camps in Planica (Slovenia), Davos (Switzerland) and Innsbruck (Austria).
“Most of the preparation is over and we’ve been able to get a good overview of the athletes’ performances. We will be holding the last two training camps with the eight World Cup regulars this week in Planica and next week in Davos and Innsbruck, before they leave for Finland,” said Christoph Bieler in a statement from the Austrian Ski Federation.
