14:46. Johannes Lamparter put things right. All it took was one acceleration on the last hill for the yellow bib to win the Gundersen grand tremplin in Trondheim (Norway) on Sunday 7 December. The day after his 6th place in the mass start, the Austrian responded on his skis, at the end ofa controlled race in which he passed his compatriot Franz-Josef Rehrl in the lead for a long time (2nd, 12 seconds behind). Germany’s Julian Schmid completed the podium (+27 seconds), after starting 9th.

Two French riders were in contention for a place in the top 10, following their strong performances in the morning jumping session. Laurent Muhlethaler was in the thick of things right up to the final hectometres with the group vying for the top 10. But he finally cracked the top 15, his best result of the winter (15th, +1 min 03).

Marco Heinis , who struggled on his skis, lost his grip on the race on the first lap and finished 26th, 1 min 40 off the pace.
