11:53. Black Friday for the French women’s Nordic combined team. On 5 December, the three Frenchwomen competing at the World Cup in Trondheim (Norway) had a complicated jumping competition.
Already in difficulty on the reserve jump the day before, Léna Brocard did no better than 74.5 metres on the HS102. Her 26th best performance of the session left her 4 min 1′ behind the leader. She will start in the cross-country skiing wave at 2.15pm. She will be up against her compatriots Marion Droz-Vincent (75 m, +4 min 13) and Romane Baud (72.5 m, +4 min 16).

The competition was once again dominated by an imperious Ingrid Laate. With a jump of 96m, the Norwegian had plenty of room on her skis when she took off.

Her first rivals will be Finland’s Heta Hirvonen (94m, +58 sec), Germany’s Nathalie Armbruster (94.5m, +1 min 8), Austria’s Katharina Gruber (94m, +1 min 10) and American Alexa Brabec (94m, +1 min 12).
