Nordic combined: two girls top the Val di Fiemme Summer Grand Prix
This Friday morning, the ski jumping competition in the last individual women’s event of the 2025 Nordic Combined Summer Grand Prix took place in Val di Fiemme (Italy).
On the small ski jump in Predazzo (Italy), two women share the lead ahead of the 5km ski-wheel pursuit scheduled for early afternoon: Finland’s Minja Korhonen (97 metres) and Japan’s Yuna Kasai (99.5 metres). Behind them, Heta Hirvonen (97.5 metres), winner of Thursday’s pocket jump, is 15 seconds behind and Alexa Brabec (98 metres) is 21 seconds behind.

The overall leader, Germany’s Nathalie Armbruster (89.5 metres), ninth at 59 seconds, will have to work hard on her roller skis to get back up… as will Slovenia’s Ema Volavsek (87 metres), fourteenth at 1 min 17, and Norway’s Ida Marie Hagen (87.5 metres), sixteenth at 1 min 28.

France’s Léna Brocard, initially in the top 10, was unfortunately disqualified due to a problem with her arms. Her compatriot Romane Baud (88.5 metres), wearing the blue number for best back jumper, was tenth at 1 min 10, while Marion Droz-Vincent (84.5 metres) was twenty-fourth at 2 min 5.
