18:11. The Nordic combined Youth Cup in Kandersteg (Switzerland) drew to a close on Sunday with a second day of competition.
In the Youth II category (athletes born in 2008, 2009 and 2010), France’s Simon Pagnier once again took a fine second place after winning the jumping competition. In the sprint, Estonia’s Fred Gustavson won, while Joseph Issartel came eleventh.

In the Youth I category (born in 2011, 2012 and 2013), Gabriel Barkats Brandina was also second in a race won by Austrian Maximilian Ferner. Louison Descombes-Sevoie was seventeenth, Antoine Putot forty-fifth and Noé Arnould forty-ninth. On the women’s side, Franc-Comtoise Valentine Maurice was seventeenth in the same category.
