While they have been proudly displayed in the village ofAntholz (Italy) since the end of September, the Olympic rings were installed in the Val di Fiemme (Italy) on Monday 9 December, less than 450 days before the opening ceremony of the Milan/Cortina 2026 Olympic Games.

In the Val di Fiemme, between the cross-country skiing venue of Lake Tesero and the ski jumping venue of Predazzo, no fewer than 21 medal events will take place in February 2026.
