16:00. On the happy arrival of Victor Lovera on the cross-country skiing relay that helped France to Olympic silver, the Villard de Lans town hall announced that it was organising a party to welcome back its champions.
On the programme for Wednesday 25 February, there will be a signing session, a time for sharing and celebrating the three local sportsmen and women taking part in the Olympic Games. Flags in hand, cheeks made up, voices warmed up, the atmosphere is likely to be festive for this moment of celebration on the Place de la Libération.

Already a three-time silver medallist, Mathis Desloges will be eagerly awaited where it all began for him. With bronze around his neck, Emilien Jacquelin will be part of the party alongside hockey goalkeeper Violette Pinel-Couriaut.
You can already leave a note in the athletes’ guest books: Mathis Desloges, Emilien Jacquelin and Violette Pinel-Couriaut.
