When Peiserot Eric Perrot crossed the finish line of the men’s biathlon relay at the Milan/Cortina 2026 Olympic Games as winner, his Jura team-mate Quentin Fillon-Maillet went down in French sporting history.
With eight Olympic medals to his name (five gold, three silver), the Franc-Comtois is now France’s most decorated winter sportsman at the Olympic Games, just one ahead of Martin Fourcade . With this eighth Olympic medal, he joins fencers Philippe Cattiau and Roger Ducret as the most decorated French Olympians in history.
Finally, with a fifth Olympic title, Quentin Fillon-Maillet equals Teddy Riner in this statistical line and is now one point behind Martin Fourcade.
