7:27. This Thursday morning, L’Equipe once againdevoted its front page – this time in part – to the biathlon. Three days after the celebration of the mixed relay’s Olympic triumph and the day after Eric Perrot’s silver medal, Julia Simon and Lou Jeanmonnot appear on the cover of the prestigious sports daily.
On Wednesday, they thrilled the French sporting world with a fabulous double in the individual event at the Milan/Cortina 2026 Olympic Games.

The headline is “De toutes les couleurs” (“Of all colours”) , and the photos of Wednesday’s other medallists – Laurence Fournier Beaudry, Guillaume Cizeron and Perrine Laffont – are also featured on the front page.
The first three pages of the newspaper are devoted entirely to biathlon. The first double page contains an editorial, a story and an interview about Julia Simon‘s victory. The other page contains two articles: one on Lou Jeanmonnot ‘s silver medal and another on the frustration of Camille Bened, who came within a bullet of the medal.
