In a men’s mass-start in which Frenchmen Karl Tabouret and Benjamin Daviet had to pull out at the last minute, it was local hero Marco Maier who came out on top.
Scoring 8/10 against the targets, he finished 22 sec 0 ahead of Austria’s Stefan Egger-Riedmueller (10/10) and Canadian legend Mark Arendz (8/10) 38 sec 4 behind Kazakhstan’s Alexandr Gerlits (5/10) and Germany’s Max Long (5/10).
