Para cross-country skiing: big disappointment for Les Bleus at the World Championships
Late on Thursday morning, the French para-cross-country skiing team had high hopes for the open relay at the world championships in Toblach (Italy). Benjamin Daviet, who took part in two relays, Anthony Chalençon (guided by Florian Michelon) and Karl Tabouret were all aiming for medals in this special event, in which male and female para-athletes in all categories can compete.

However, Karl Tabouret took a wrong turn at the start of the third relay and the French, who were in the lead at the time, were disqualified. So there was no podium for France in this open relay won by Norway (Kjartan Haugen, Vilde Nilsen, Thomas Oxaal guided by Geir Lervik).

Germany(Nico Messinger guided by Robin Wunderle, Leonie Maria Walter guided by Christian Winker, Sebastian Marburger, Lennart Mattis Volkert guided by Nils Kolb) and China(Yu Shuang guided by Shang Jincai, Wang Chenyang, Wang Tao, Cai Jiayun) complete the podium.
The Ukrainians win the mixed relay
Earlier in the day, the Ukraine of Pavlo Bal, Oleksandra Kononova, Oleksandr Aleksyk and Liudmyla Liashenko won the mixed relay by 7.5 seconds over the United States(Kendall Gretsch, Sydney Peterson, Daniel Cnossen, Jake Adicoff guided by Reid Goble).

Germany(Anja Wicker, Johanna Recktenwald guided by Michel Huhn, Alexander Ehler, Marco Maier) took bronze in the sprint ahead of China and Canada.
