Rollerski : the Italians win the sprint
This Friday, the men’s sprint skate skate team concluded the second day of the Rollerski World Cup in Madona (Latvia). In this race, which was decided in the final, it was the Italians Giovanni Lorenzetti and Matteo Tanel – second in the individual race on Thursday – who came out on top.
Always present in the leading group and third with 700 metres to go, Matteo Tanel showed all his power to take victory in the final package.

Behind them, Sweden’s Erik Fransson and Simon Karlsson took second place, less than a second behind the Transalps. The podium was rounded off by Latvia’s Lauris Kaparkalejs and Raimo Vigants, four seconds behind them on home soil.
