Rollerski | Schutzenski Festival at Soldier Hollow: Norway’s Martin Loewstroem Nyenget and Hailey Swirbul win the individual 10 km skate races

20:40. The day after the classic sprints, the Schutzenski Festival in Soldier Hollow (USA) included a 10km individual skate and rollerski event.

Firstly, in the men’s race, it wasn’t an American who won, as Norway’s Martin Loewstroem Nyenget, who lined up for this race, won in 20 min 10 sec 8, 13 sec 7 ahead of Gus Schumacher. Ben Ogden completed the podium at 31 sec 6 ahead of Joe Davies and Luke Jager.

On the women’s side, in the absence of Jessie Diggins, it was Hailey Swirbul who came out on top, beating Julia Kern by just 2.3 seconds, while Haley Brewster finished third by over a minute.
