12:39. This Saturday morning saw the long-distance race between Båstad (Sweden) and Mölle (Sweden), part of the Ski Classics Challengers calendar. Sweden’s Max Novak and Julia Angelsiöö won the 80-kilometre race.
In the men’s race, Max Novak (Team Aker Dæhlie) confirmed his favourite status. He pulled away to win solo after 3 hours 23 minutes and 02 seconds 9 . The Swede was 21 seconds ahead of his compatriot Johannes Ekloef (Ski Team Göhlins), his runner-up for the day. The podium was completed by another member of the same team, Elias Andersson, who was more than a minute further back.

The women’s race was dominated by Ski Team Göhlins, who completed the double. Victory went to Sweden’s Julia Angelsiöö, who won in 3 hours 56 minutes and 02 seconds 7. Her team-mate Hilda Loef took second place, nearly ten minutes behind. The podium was rounded off by Czech Tereza Hujerova (Team Slavia Pojistovna Robinson Trentino), who finished more than fifteen minutes behind.
