Rollerskiing: a long-distance race in Oye-et-Pallet this summer
Come summer, the major roller-ski races are all concentrated in Norway and Sweden, with the World Classic Tour competitions (Blink Festival, Toppidrettsveka, Tröllhattan Action Week) taking centre stage. Few events are organised in continental Europe.
So Thomas Joly and his club ASOP, chaired by Fabien Coste, saw an opportunity and created the HautDoubsLoppet. This classic-style rollerski race is 42km long (three 14km loops) and will take place on the banks of Lac de Saint-Point, in the Doubs.
Starting and finishing in Oye-et-Pallet (Doubs), the first edition of the Haut-Doubs-Loppet will take place on 27 July and will include an elite race and another reserved for amateurs.
